Jasmine and fresh ginger are given a life away from the kitchen at Laurentius Salon in the Italian Market. The exotic spices combine with honey in the salon's signature Balinese Ginger Pedicure service, created by owner Laurentius Purnama after years of watching his grandmother's own beauty ritual. The indulgence starts in a foot soak of warm water, jasmine oil and floating rose buds. Next, pedicurist Robin Campbell removes calluses and dry skin and leaves your tootsies to soak in the warm jasmine water as she preps the ginger scrub and honey citrus mask. (It's made with fresh ginger that's grown on site.) Campbell works the mixture into the skin with a world class foot and leg massage and finishes the hour-long treatment with a coat of pretty polish.
